Help us promote the Club and show
off your red, white & blue by driving with the Milwaukee
MINIS in one of TWO Fourth of July Parades! FREE for
all to participate in; you may want to supply your own
candy to hand out along the parade route.
Whitefish Bay: Participation in the Whitefish Bay parade
is limited to the first 8 MINIS to RSVP to theresanemetz@hotmail.com.
The Milwaukee MINIS are unit #48 in the Whitefish Bay
parade, and should plan to meet between 10:45 am - 11:00
am on the 5500 block of Kent Avenue to decorate the
MINIS and prepare for the parade.
New Berlin: There is no limit to the number of MINIS
that can participate in the New Berlin parade, however,
you still must RSVP to theresanemetz@hotmail.com. The
New Berlin parade has over 20,000 attendees and prides
itself on starting off the parade with 400+ Harley bikers!
Let's make them even more proud in 2008 by gathering
the largest group of MINI Coopers too. The Milwaukee
MINIS need to meet at the Pick n' Save grocery store
at the intersection of National Avenue and Sunny Slope
Road by 11:30 am. Please meet in the back of
the grocery store, by the loading docks, and we will
decorate our MINIS. (Note - National Avenue
and Moreland Road will be closed at 11 am.) From there,
we will proceed west through 2 checkpoints to our parade
staging area - we are unit #55.

At this point, we know that there
will be 4 main cities/states, and one of them will be
in Chicago with our Chicago MINI Motoring Club friends.
But, is the Chicago site really in Chicago? Not really
if you check out the link below - it seems that most
of the event will be in our great state in Elkhart Lake!
Stay tuned, and save the date.
On Friday, July 25th, Club member Anthony will be leading
a group to Chicago. If you would like to join him, please
email him at anuval@mindspring.com or post a message
on the forum that he has started on NAM - Milwaukee
MINIS. Friday
